In November 2010, my plans to take the girls to the Bloodhound Club Autumn Open Show were scuffered by
Jubilant coming in to season.  Her progesterone tests indicated that she would peak on the day of the show.  This photo was taken on her "Wedding day" to Cupidon du Noble Limier [Cezanne

Despite a successful mating, the scan 24 days later proved negative. 

For her first four years while living with Justice, Jubilant was given Delvosteron to suppress her seasons.  This carries the risk of a bitch becoming permanently infertile. 

Her next season started at the World Show in Paris.
At eight and a half years of age, Cezanne has remained in good health, and still has a good sperm count, so Jubilant was again mated to Cezanne a fortnight later.  However, there was more excitement to come. . ..
